In the first place, we debated on Ad Extra, incontournable dimension of our charism. This topic was discussed with passion, for the key of a blossoming and flourishing mission ad extra, we all stressed, is the community that witnesses to evangelical values, an intercultural community which is Word/Message for our fragmented world of today.
Who are we in our communities ? women who live out fraternal love and compassion towards one another ?
What policy are we invited put in place so that mission ad extra may be a reality lived each one of our sisters? The reflection continues.
The other topics which then retained our attention today are : the call of Botswana, the situation of the District of Algeria and that of Argentina.
Since yesterday, Wednesday 10 July, we have focused on the new calls ; and, by leaning on the presentation of our sisters : Bernadette McCarthy, Invited from the Insertion of Botswana to this Chapter, Sandra Catapano, Delegate of Algeria, and Lilian Gonzales, Superior of the District of Argentina, we were able to discover elements of the mentioned calls (Situations of women, youth and children in distress, Attention to be given to Migrants, Family apostolate, Situation of persons living with HIV, Interreligious Dialogue, Missionary and Vocation Animation …).
We then opted to respond to the different missions presented by sending some Sisters!!!
May the Lord sustain our zeal and our generosity!
